If you’d love to be able to make clever works of art from paper, like the cleverness of Keri Muller’s bird in Cavendish Square (What flew into Cav), this is a good place to start.
It’s a nice idea for a gift: buy an origami lesson as a pressie either for yourself or for someone who you think will enjoy the experience. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
Another thought: maybe try painting origami on your walls? Like this room, for instance, where the dirty blue walls are offset by a wonderful cherry red floor. I worked on a paint decor issue with Elle Decoration and the origami wall was one of many pretty rooms done by the Elle team using Earthcote heritage collection colours.
Colours used included ‘Brenton Blue’ (main wall colour) and ‘Changing Sea’ (origami bird). The cherry red floor is ‘Dollar Brand’. All by Earthcote, from Paint&Place paint shops in South Africa.
